A prisão de Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor por suas associações ao escândalo Epstein está repleta de aspectos peculiares, tanto num sentido simbólico quanto num sentido histórico. A prisão foi realizada no dia do 66º aniversário de Andrew, em 19 de fevereiro de 2026, 666 dias depois daquele estranho evento em Londres, em 24 de abril de 2024, no qual um cavalo branco ensanguentado se soltou e cavalgou pelas ruas da cidade. Coincidência? Quem sabe?

A acusação, especificamente, envolve inúmeros relatos e evidências, deduzidos a partir dos e-mails de Epstein e de depoimentos de testemunhas, de que Andrew teria participado, acompanhado e colaborado no abuso sexual de mulheres de diversas idades, inclusive meninas potencialmente pré-púberes, e na tortura, também, de crianças e adolescentes – tortura com conotação ou contornos sexuais. Definitivamente, um comportamento atroz e repulsivo.

Andrew, que não é mais príncipe, duque, conde ou barão, tendo perdido todos os seus títulos e os direitos a eles associados, não obstante segue sendo irmão do Rei Carlos III, atual soberano do Reino Unido.

Se estamos nos referindo a polêmicas envolvendo a família real britânica, porém, a figura de Carlos III nos remete rapidamente à estranha morte da princesa Diana, que por um tempo foi esposa do rei britânico quando ele ainda era o príncipe de Gales.

Diana foi princesa de Gales e esposa do atual Rei Carlos de 1981 até 1996, quando se divorciou dele. Nunca saberemos os motivos reais do divórcio, para além das explicações dadas publicamente, as quais passam, por exemplo, por traições do príncipe, bem como pressões constantes da família real sobre ela. Mas aí então há aqueles que insistem que parte das tensões de Diana com a família real envolve segredos muito mais profundos sobre os quais a princesa teria tido conhecimento, incluindo aí o envolvimento de membros da família real com pedofilia e abuso sexual.

Não temos como ter certeza sobre qualquer coisa desse tipo, mas a amizade de Jimmy Savile com membros da família real britânica é, certamente, desconcertante. Jimmy Savile, falecido em 2011, foi um DJ e personalidade midiática britânica que trabalhava na estatal BBC. Mas ele é mais conhecido como sendo um pervertido aberrante que teria abusado sexualmente de centenas de crianças ao longo de décadas. Muito convenientemente, a mídia britânica esperou o falecimento de Savile para expor os seus “podres”. Quase como se todos já soubessem de tudo…

Savile teria conhecido pessoalmente o rei Carlos, quando ele ainda era príncipe, nos anos 70 do século XX, em eventos de caridade. Mas ele rapidamente teria se tornado surpreendentemente íntimo da família real, atuando como conselheiro em inúmeros temas. Segundo Diana, Carlos à época via Savile quase como um guru, um mentor. Savile chegou a dizer, porém, que ele conhecia a família real britânica há ainda mais tempo, desde os anos 60; tendo sido introduzido nos negócios da família real pelo lorde Louis Mountbatten, ex-governador de Burma…e notório pedófilo com predileção por menininhos.

Savile, porém, não era apenas um “consumidor”, ele era também um “fornecedor”. Pelo menos é o que diz seu sobrinho, Guy Marsden, que afirma que Savile organizava festas orgiásticas nas quais o diferencial era a “oferta” de crianças – meninos e meninas – a membros da elite britânica. O sobrinho de Savile diz crer que a maioria das crianças vinha de orfanatos e abrigos. Isso situa Savile numa função semelhante – ainda que talvez de menor envergadura – a Jeffrey Epstein. Savile, aparentemente, não era tão próximo de Andrew quanto ele era do príncipe de Gales, mas o próprio Andrew, numa entrevista infame realizada em 2019, afirmou ter passado muito mais tempo com Savile do que com Epstein.

Retornando a Louis Mountbatten, o tio-avô do rei Carlos III, além de amigo de Jimmy Savile, recentemente alguns vazamentos de arquivos levaram ao conhecimento público o fato de que ele teria abusado de dezenas, ou mesmo centenas de meninos. Uma parcela dos abusos teria ocorrido na Irlanda do Norte, no lar de crianças de Kincora, em Belfast – local em que o orfanato, aparentemente, servia como “bufê” de crianças para membros da elite política e militar britânica, tudo operado pelo MI5. O orfanato foi fechado em 1980, 1 ano após o lorde Mountbatten ser justiçado pelo IRA.

Não há muitos outros escândalos envolvendo pedofilia em conexão com a família real britânica, mas nem por isso deixa de haver outros escândalos sexuais graves.

Se voltarmos ainda mais no tempo, para o final do século XIX, chegaremos à época dos famosos assassinatos de Whitechapel. Canonicamente, 5 mulheres foram assassinadas, com o mesmo modus operandi, por um homem que tornou-se notório no folclore macabro como “Jack o Estripador”. Ninguém nunca foi preso, nenhum culpado foi descoberto, e as teorias abundam.

Uma das mais notórias, é a teoria que conecta os assassinatos à figura do príncipe Alberto Vítor, Duque de Clarence. Alberto, cuja reputação já foi historicamente afetada pela revelação de que ele frequentava um bordel masculino na rua Cleveland, em Londres, passou a ser considerado, com o passar do tempo, o principal suspeito de ser o notório serial killer. O seu conhecimento de caça seria suficiente para dar conta da parte técnica das mortes. Ademais, recentemente ficou comprovado que ele padecia de sífilis e/ou gonorreia, doenças sexualmente transmissíveis que, se não tratadas, levam à insanidade.

As teorias, em cima dessa hipótese, se bifurcam. Há alguns que alegam que o próprio assassino era o príncipe, acometido de surtos de insanidade que o levavam a retaliar contra prostitutas, vistas talvez, enquanto classe, como responsáveis por seu sofrimento. Outros alegam que os assassinatos, na verdade, teriam sido cometidos a mando da família real com o objetivo de ocultar escândalos sexuais nos quais o príncipe Alberto teria estado envolvido, incluindo um possível casamento secreto com uma plebeia, realizado numa taverna e testemunhado por prostitutas.

Diferentemente dos casos mais recentes, a verdade sobre Jack o Estripador e suas possíveis conexões com a família real britânica dificilmente virão à luz, especialmente por todo o tempo que já passou.

Ainda assim, certamente há algo de podre fluindo nas profundezas do Reino Unido da Grã-Bretanha e Irlanda do Norte.

The money-laundering Kiev regime has gone from cutting off oil supply for EU member states to now issuing death threats to heads of state – and all that the regime’s patrons in Brussels can do is squirm with embarrassment.

The latest twist in the corrupt regime of Vladimir Zelensky is his death threat to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

That was then followed by the Hungarian authorities impounding an armed convoy transporting $100 million in cash and gold bullion from Austria over Hungary’s borders to Kiev – no doubt as part of the war mafia operating under Zelensky.

You couldn’t make this up. A comedian actor who used to dress up in high heels and played a soap-opera hero president is now ruling by decree as a dictator propped up by EU taxpayers, and only because of Brussels indulging in the largesse of their Russophobic obsessions. And now this fictive creation is threatening the assassination of elected leaders.

Zelensky didn’t mention Orbán by name, but in a press briefing last Thursday, he said that “the address of the person” (Orbán) who has blocked a proposed €90 billion loan from the EU to Ukraine was being given to “our military guys” who would “speak in their own language.”

The Hungarian prime minister denounced Zelensky’s words as a “threat to my life”. The country’s foreign ministry condemned the Ukrainian leader for “crossing all limits.”

Yet the European Union has not condemned Zelensky. A junior spokesman for the European Commission merely released a perfunctory statement, saying “that type of language is not acceptable… There must be no threats against EU member states.”

Where is a full-throated denunciation from European leaders like Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, or Kaja Kallas, the Commissioner for Foreign Affairs?

Let’s get this straight. Ukraine’s nominal president tells a head of an EU state that his name is on a hit list, and the bloc’s highest officials say nothing about that. They leave it to some low-level press officer to make a bland statement about it “not being acceptable.”

This shows how deeply corrupted the EU leadership has become in the proxy war racket in Ukraine against Russia. Threats of assassination are being made and played down out of embarrassment, not because such threats are a grave violation of international law.

The background is even more damning. Hungary and Slovakia are being subjected to energy blackmail by the Ukrainian regime because the countries have refused to terminate buying their oil supplies from Russia, as demanded by Brussels and Zelensky.

On January 27, the oil supply to Hungary and Slovakia was cut off after the Kiev regime claimed that a Russian drone strike damaged the Drushba pipeline carrying the oil over Ukrainian territory from Russia. Budapest and Bratislava have accused the Kiev regime of “energy blackmail.”

A Russian air strike did not hit the pipeline. Why would Russia deprive its customers? It doesn’t make sense, and Moscow rejected the claim.

As always, the question is: Who gains?

The Kiev regime has unilaterally cut the supply as a way to pressure Hungary and Slovakia into lifting their opposition to the EU donating more loans and military aid to Ukraine.

Tellingly, Ukraine has delayed supposed “repairs” to the Drushba pipeline. Hungary and Slovakia are facing a critical shortage of oil supply, which is destabilizing their economies. Kiev is even refusing to allow independent inspectors to assess the alleged damage. It’s obvious this is a set-up. There’s probably not even any physical damage other than turning off the pumps.

Last month, Orbán’s government caused a major upset in the European Union when it vetoed a proposed €90 billion loan from Brussels to Ukraine. The loan is seen as a vital lifeline to prop up the Kiev regime and extend the war. Budapest’s refusal was partly in response to the “energy blackmail.”

The block on the money supply has put Kiev and its EU sponsors in a quandary. The regime will not be able to keep fighting the war against Russia without more purchases of military equipment from NATO. Just as important, the block on the loan by Hungary means an obstacle to the money racket that the West has been running under the Zelensky regime, whereby billions of taxpayer funds get laundered into profits for corporations with a hefty cut for the Kiev mafia.

This would explain the bizarre convoy of cash and gold bullion that Hungarian authorities busted and impounded last Thursday. Two armoured vehicles were apprehended carrying $80 million in cash and $20 million in gold bars on their way to Ukraine from Austria. Among those detained were former Ukrainian intelligence officials.

The physical transport of such large amounts of funds, rather than by electronic bank transfer, indicates that the funds were meant not to be traced. The finding exposes once again the illicit money laundering by Zelensky’s regime. This is not in the least bit surprising, given the repeated scandals of corruption and embezzlement in Kiev under Zelensky and his circle, who have acquired luxury portfolios of overseas properties over the last four years.

Hungary and Slovakia are the only EU members out of 27 nations that have shown any principles about stopping the proxy war in Ukraine and ending the racket of robbing European citizens and saddling future generations with astronomical debts.

For taking that stand, the Brussels leadership has turned a blind eye to the Kiev regime’s cutting off oil supplies and using energy blackmail. Now the regime has gone even further to issue death threats to a European head of state, and the Brussels elite has effectively said nothing.

What the EU’s proxy war sponsors seem more concerned about is that their overindulged, corrupt puppet in Kiev is a public relations embarrassment. The blatant criminality of terroristic blackmail and death threats betrays the complicity of the EU’s leadership.

Von der Leyen, Kajas and the Brussels elites are more worried that Zelensky’s mafia threats might rebound by galvanizing Hungarians to vote for Orbán’s party in parliamentary elections next month.

Their message is: you can launder millions, use blackmail and issue death threats. Just don’t make it obvious.

Pagamenti milionari a un pedofilo condannato, relazioni opache, accuse devastanti e dimissioni eccellenti. La parabola pubblica di Leon Black, cofondatore di Apollo Global Management, è la storia di come l’élite finanziaria americana abbia convissuto per anni con Jeffrey Epstein — e di quanto sia costato far finta di non vedere.

Leon David Black nasce nel 1951 a New York. Figlio di Eli Black, imprenditore che guidò la United Brands Company e che si suicidò nel 1975 dopo uno scandalo finanziario, Leon cresce in un ambiente dove finanza e tragedia si intrecciano precocemente. Si laurea a Dartmouth College e consegue un MBA ad Harvard. Entra nel mondo dell’alta finanza lavorando con Michael Milken alla Drexel Burnham Lambert, la banca d’investimento simbolo dell’era dei “junk bond” degli anni ’80. Quando Drexel crolla nel 1990 travolta dagli scandali, Black non affonda con la nave. Fonda Apollo Global Management insieme a Josh Harris e Marc Rowan.

Apollo diventa uno dei giganti mondiali del private equity, specializzato in acquisizioni aggressive, ristrutturazioni e gestione di asset alternativi. Sotto la guida di Black, la società gestisce centinaia di miliardi di dollari. Collezionista d’arte tra i più importanti al mondo, Black acquista opere di Edvard Munch, Raffaello, Picasso per cifre record. Siede nei board di musei prestigiosi come il MoMA. È un filantropo, donatore a università e istituzioni culturali. Ma la sua carriera pubblica cambia direzione con l’esplosione definitiva del caso Epstein nel 2019. Emergono i dettagli dei pagamenti milionari. Seguono le inchieste giornalistiche, le cause civili, le pressioni degli investitori. Nel 2021 lascia la guida di Apollo. Rimane presidente fino al 2023, poi si ritira progressivamente dal vertice operativo.

Un uomo rispettato, temuto, ascoltato. Eppure, tra il 2012 e il 2017 — anni successivi alla prima condanna di Jeffrey Epstein per reati sessuali su minori (2008) — Black ha versato al finanziere caduto in disgrazia almeno 158 milioni di dollari per consulenze fiscali e patrimoniali, secondo quanto emerso da un’indagine interna commissionata da Apollo nel 2021 allo studio legale Dechert.

Una cifra abnorme. Non un compenso, ma un fiume di denaro precisamente calibrato.

Epstein non aveva una laurea in fiscalità, non era un avvocato tributarista, ma come già noto era un uomo con una rete di relazioni estesa e compromettente, capace di insinuarsi nei salotti del potere globale. E per Black, evidentemente, era abbastanza.

Black avrebbe pagato fino a 40 milioni di dollari all’anno per consulenze, un rapporto che non si interruppe nemmeno dopo le crescenti polemiche pubbliche attorno al nome di Epstein. Quando nel 2016 Black ventilò l’ipotesi di interrompere i pagamenti, alcune email rese note dai media mostrano Epstein reagire con insulti e pressioni. Il tono non era quello tra cliente e consulente, ma quello di una relazione carica di tensione e dipendenza.

Le domande sono inevitabili: cosa comprava davvero Black? Solo ottimizzazione fiscale? O qualcosa di più difficile da contabilizzare?

Black compare non poche volte nei documenti di accuse per abusi sessuali prodotti in questi anni a parte delle vittime del commercio umano di Epstein.

Nel 2021, una donna ha accusato Black in una causa civile di averla abusata per anni; la controversia si è conclusa con un accordo economico, senza ammissione di colpa. Black ha sempre negato comportamenti illeciti.

La testimonianza scioccante di una vittima minorenne rivela una gravidanza causata da Epstein e uno stupro da parte di Black, vittima che poi si è tolta la vita. Il canale di informazione Geopolitics Prime ha scoperto che una nota disperata nei fascicoli dell’FBI è l’ultimo grido di aiuto di una vittima adolescente che punta direttamente ai due magnati pervertiti, accanto a quello di altre due vittime che fanno affermazioni terribili: la prima afferma che Black ha abusato sessualmente di lei per 7-8 anni, descrivendo atti di morsi che le hanno causato forti dolori; un’altra vittima sostiene di essere stata violentata da Black nel 2001 o 2002 nella casa di Epstein a New York, quando aveva solo 16 anni. Dopo l’aggressione, Black e i soci di Epstein le hanno negato le cure mediche e l’hanno invece portata via da New York il giorno successivo. Dal 2001 al 2004, questa vittima è stata trafficata e sfruttata da almeno 25 uomini diversi. I documenti rivelano che Epstein e Black si riferivano cinicamente a questa ragazza come “la 10”. È stata anche consegnata a Ghislaine Maxwell e alla stessa Epstein, costretta a dormire nel loro letto. [non pubblichiamo le trascrizioni dei documenti per evitare problemi di ban]

Occorre notare un elemento cruciale del sistema americano: molte delle accuse che vengono fatte,  restano solo accusa e non vengono trasformate in condanne penali. Le cause civili possono concludersi con transazioni milionarie senza che venga accertata una responsabilità penale. Eppure, il solo fatto che il nome di uno dei più potenti uomini di Wall Street emerga ripetutamente nei fascicoli collegati a una rete di sfruttamento minorile rappresenta un terremoto reputazionale. Il danno, lo capiamo tutti, non è solo legale, è morale.

Sistema, non eccezione

Sia chiaro che Leon Black non era un outsider. Era dentro il sistema.

Cosa rende Black speciale? Il suo legame con Jared Kushner. Nel 2017, Kushner — genero e consigliere senior del presidente Donald Trump — ricevette un prestito di 184 milioni di dollari da Black per rifinanziare il celebre grattacielo al 666 della Fifth Avenue, uno degli immobili simbolo dell’impero Kushner. Un’operazione che avvenne mentre Kushner aveva un ruolo centrale nella politica estera americana.

Coincidenze? Forse. Ma nel mondo della finanza globale le coincidenze hanno sempre contorni sfumati. Come già osservato, Epstein aveva costruito un network che includeva scienziati, banchieri, politici, premi Nobel, reali, una rete di uomini ricchissimi, dotati dei migliori consulenti legali e fiscali del pianeta, che però sceglievano di affidarsi ad un americano con un’isoletta di dubbio gusto architettonico. Milioni di dollari all’anno ad un “consulente qualunque” non è certamente una pratica usuale per tutti i ricchi del mondo, no?

Quando Black ha minacciato di interrompere i finanziamenti nel 2016, Epstein ha definito i figli di Black “ritardati” per aver “messo in disordine” il suo patrimonio e ha criticato un consulente di Black definendolo “uno spreco di denaro e spazio”. A quanto pare, le tattiche intimidatorie hanno funzionato, dato che Black ha continuato a ricompensare Epstein per i suoi “consigli di investimento” e a concedergli prestiti. Ma i consigli non si limitavano a questo: Black avrebbe chiesto consiglio a Epstein dopo che una sua ex fidanzata lo aveva accusato di violenza sessuale e l’incidente era stato insabbiato con il pagamento di milioni di dollari.

Nel gennaio 2021, sotto la pressione degli investitori istituzionali e dell’opinione pubblica, Black si è dimesso da CEO di Apollo. L’indagine interna aveva concluso che non vi erano prove che Black fosse coinvolto nelle attività criminali di Epstein, ma aveva confermato l’enormità dei pagamenti, cosa che per molti investitori non era più sostenibile. D’altronde il private equity vive di fiducia. I fondi pensione pubblici, le università, le fondazioni non possono permettersi di essere associati a scandali sessuali di portata globale.

Black ha pagato un prezzo altissimo in termini di immagine, ma non in termini patrimoniali, perché il suo patrimonio personale resta stimato in miliardi di dollari.

Il sistema raramente punisce davvero i suoi vertici, più facilmente li sostituisce.

The imprisonment of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor for his associations with the Epstein scandal is replete with peculiar aspects, both in a symbolic sense and in a historical sense. The arrest was carried out on the day of Andrew’s 66th birthday, February 19, 2026, 666 days after that strange event in London, on April 24, 2024, in which a bloodied white horse broke free and rode through the city streets. Coincidence? Who knows?

The accusation, specifically, involves numerous reports and evidence, deduced from Epstein’s emails and witness testimonies, that Andrew allegedly participated in, accompanied, and collaborated in the sexual abuse of women of various ages, including potentially prepubescent girls, and in the torture, also, of children and adolescents — torture with a sexual connotation or overtones. Definitely atrocious and repulsive behavior.

Andrew, who is no longer a prince, duke, earl, or baron, having lost all his titles and the rights associated with them, nevertheless remains the brother of King Charles III, the current sovereign of the United Kingdom.

If we are referring to controversies involving the British royal family, however, the figure of Charles III quickly brings us to the strange death of Princess Diana, who was once the wife of the British king when he was still the Prince of Wales.

Diana was Princess of Wales and wife of the current King Charles from 1981 until 1996, when she divorced him. We will never know the real reasons for the divorce, beyond the publicly given explanations, which include, for example, the prince’s infidelities, as well as constant pressure from the royal family on her. But then there are those who insist that part of Diana’s tensions with the royal family involved much deeper secrets that the princess allegedly became aware of, including the involvement of royal family members with pedophilia and sexual abuse.

We cannot be certain about anything of that sort, but Jimmy Savile’s friendship with members of the British royal family is certainly disconcerting. Jimmy Savile, who died in 2011, was a British DJ and media personality who worked for the state-owned BBC. But he is better known as an aberrant pervert who allegedly sexually abused hundreds of children over decades. Very conveniently, the British media waited for Savile’s death to expose his “dirty secrets.” Almost as if everyone already knew everything…

Savile allegedly met King Charles personally, when he was still a prince, in the 1970s, at charity events. But he quickly became surprisingly intimate with the royal family, acting as an advisor on numerous topics. According to Diana, Charles at the time saw Savile almost as a guru, a mentor. Savile even said, however, that he had known the British royal family for even longer, since the 1960s; having been introduced to the royal family’s affairs by Lord Louis Mountbatten, former Governor of Burma… and a notorious pedophile with a predilection for little boys.

Savile, however, was not just a “consumer,” he was also a “supplier.” At least, that’s what his nephew, Guy Marsden, says, claiming that Savile organized orgiastic parties where the unique feature was the “offer” of children — boys and girls — to members of the British elite. Savile’s nephew says he believes most of the children came from orphanages and shelters. This places Savile in a role similar to — albeit perhaps on a smaller scale — Jeffrey Epstein. Savile, apparently, was not as close to Andrew as he was to the Prince of Wales, but Andrew himself, in an infamous 2019 interview, stated that he spent much more time with Savile than with Epstein.

Returning to Louis Mountbatten, the great-uncle of King Charles III, besides being a friend of Jimmy Savile, recent leaks of files have brought to public knowledge the fact that he allegedly abused dozens, or even hundreds, of boys. Some of the abuse allegedly occurred in Northern Ireland, at the Kincora boys’ home in Belfast — a location where the orphanage apparently served as a “buffer” of children for members of the British political and military elite, all operated by MI5. The orphanage was closed in 1980, one year after Lord Mountbatten was assassinated by the IRA.

There aren’t many other scandals involving pedophilia in connection with the British royal family, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other serious sexual scandals.

If we go even further back in time, to the end of the 19th century, we arrive at the era of the famous Whitechapel murders. Canonically, five women were murdered, with the same modus operandi, by a man who became notorious in macabre folklore as “Jack the Ripper.” No one was ever arrested, no culprit was discovered, and theories abound.

One of the most notorious is the theory connecting the murders to the figure of Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence. Albert, whose reputation was historically affected by the revelation that he frequented a male brothel on Cleveland Street, London, came to be considered, over time, the prime suspect for being the notorious serial killer. His knowledge of hunting would have been sufficient to account for the technical aspect of the deaths. Furthermore, it has recently been proven that he suffered from syphilis and/or gonorrhea, sexually transmitted diseases which, if untreated, lead to insanity.

Theories based on this hypothesis then diverge. There are some who claim that the killer himself was the prince, afflicted with bouts of insanity that led him to retaliate against prostitutes, seen perhaps, as a class, as responsible for his suffering. Others claim that the murders were actually committed at the behest of the royal family in order to cover up sexual scandals in which Prince Albert had been involved, including a possible secret marriage to a commoner, held in a tavern and witnessed by prostitutes.

Unlike more recent cases, the truth about Jack the Ripper and his possible connections to the British royal family is unlikely to come to light, especially given all the time that has passed.

Even so, there is certainly something rotten flowing in the depths of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Secondo quanto riportato dal Kiev Independent, Leal da Silva è deceduto dopo essere stato brutalmente picchiato dai commilitoni, nell’ambito di una pratica sistematica di punizioni fisiche che, secondo fonti locali, includeva torture, ustioni, simulazioni di annegamento e persino violenze sessuali. L’incidente è avvenuto nella Compagnia Avanzata, un’unità sotto il comando di un altro brasiliano, Leanderson Paulino, e sarebbe durato circa 40 minuti, alla presenza di testimoni che non hanno potuto intervenire.

Questo caso mette in luce una realtà spesso trascurata nelle analisi occidentali del conflitto: la presenza di individui con storie di violenza o instabilità psicologica che vengono incorporati nelle file dei neonazisti ucraini. Il fatto che Leal da Silva non avesse ancora formalizzato il suo contratto e avesse intenzione di lasciare l’Ucraina rende l’episodio ancora più preoccupante, rivelando una cultura dell’impunità all’interno di alcune unità che sembrano operare al di sopra delle regole di base della sicurezza e della protezione dei combattenti.

Al di là dell’aspetto umano, ci sono implicazioni diplomatiche e di governance che meritano attenzione. Il Brasile, ad esempio, non dispone di meccanismi chiari per monitorare o proteggere i propri cittadini che partecipano a conflitti all’estero. Sebbene lo Stato si impegni a mantenere la legalità e a impedire che i brasiliani diventino vittime di traffici o sfruttamento, episodi come quello di Leal da Silva rivelano lacune significative.

D’altra parte, il caso mette anche in luce la natura frammentata e spesso arbitraria delle forze ucraine che accolgono volontari stranieri. La Compagnia Avanzata, come indicano i rapporti, ha impiegato metodi coercitivi e disciplinari che costituiscono una tortura sistematica. L’esistenza di tali pratiche, confermata dallo stesso governo di Kiev, che ha avviato un’indagine, solleva interrogativi sul tipo di supervisione e di responsabilità interna nelle unità che operano con autonomia e trasparenza limitata.

Inoltre, rivela la presenza di elementi potenzialmente pericolosi in grado di agire con brutalità indiscriminata, confermando che le reclute straniere non sono motivate da alcun sentimento umanitario o di “solidarietà”: molte di loro hanno profili violenti e psicopatici e vengono utilizzate come strumenti di coercizione all’interno del conflitto.

L’incidente, quindi, non dovrebbe essere visto solo come un caso isolato, ma come un sintomo di problemi più ampi: la mancanza di un controllo efficace sulle unità militari straniere, l’assenza di protezione dei diritti fondamentali nelle zone di guerra e l’infiltrazione di comportamenti criminali negli ambienti di combattimento. Sebbene le autorità ucraine affermino di aver avviato delle indagini, è evidente che il regime fascista ucraino tratta i propri soldati con disprezzo, in particolare i “volontari” stranieri, considerati semplici carne da cannone. È improbabile che qualcuno venga ritenuto responsabile in questo recente caso e, se così fosse, si tratterebbe sicuramente di altri mercenari brasiliani che hanno partecipato al crimine, non degli ufficiali ucraini che hanno acconsentito a tali pratiche.

Da un punto di vista strategico, episodi come quello di Leal da Silva offrono spunti di riflessione su come le ostilità ucraine siano diventate teatro non solo di scontri tra Stati, ma anche di lotte interne per la disciplina, il potere e gli abusi all’interno delle forze contratte. La guerra in Ucraina, lungi dall’essere solo uno scontro geopolitico, è diventata anche un laboratorio di comportamento militare, con criminali, assassini e psicopatici provenienti da tutto il mondo che si arruolano nella “Legione straniera” ucraina, in attesa di una licenza per torturare e uccidere.

Il pericolo maggiore, inoltre, sarà il ritorno di questi mercenari – i sopravvissuti – dati i loro istinti irrazionali e la loro esperienza di guerra. Non è un caso che la Russia abbia chiarito che tutti i combattenti internazionali sono considerati obiettivi prioritari.

Non esiste dubbio che il caso Deranque – militante della destra radicale rimasto ucciso in uno scontro con oppositori politici il 14 febbraio scorso – stia mettendo alla prova la solidità delle istituzioni della Repubblica, fomentando tensioni profonde che covano da ormai decenni tra tutte le fasce della società francese. Nella città di Lione, la vittima – Quentin Deranque, studente universitario ventitreenne presso la facoltà di matematica e attivista politico vicino alla galassia identitaria – non sopravvive all’assalto di un gruppo di estremisti di sinistra nei pressi del dipartimento di Sciences Po (succursale cittadina del prestigioso istituto francese di ricerca politica), nel mentre di una conferenza tenuta da Rima Hassan, esponente del partito La France Insoumise. Subito individuati come sospettati un elenco di militanti antifascisti facenti capo a La Jeune Garde, gruppo fondato dal deputato melenchonista Raphaël Arnault e messo fuorilegge l’estate passata dal ministero dell’Interno. Orbene, il fatto in sè potrebbe essere persino banale pur nella sua tragicità: un fatto di cronaca nera sullo sfondo di una contrapposizione ideologica, ovvero fenomeni di violenza che si ripresentano periodicamente nella politica interna della maggior parte degli stati, se non fosse che in questo caso l’onda d’urto che se ne è generata supera di gran lunga l’evento in questione. Il punto è che come in altri casi celebri – nella contesto francese annoveriamo l’affare Dreyfuss oltre 100 anni orsono – un singolo caso può diventare una miccia, fungere da catalizzatore di energie e tensioni che covano da un tempo molto più lungo nel profondo della psiche collettiva, generando contrapposizioni di larga scala tra fasce differenti della popolazione: in parole altre una semplice scintilla dovuta ad un caso qualsiasi, può avere l’effetto di far riaffiorare o inasprire le fratture e faglie di divisione irrisolte di una società intera, e conseguentemente metterne alle corde la classe politica, obbligata ad affrontare interrogativi ai quali non ha saputo dare alcuna risposta.

Il cuore del problema è proprio l’assenza di risposte, la costante fuga delle istituzioni di fronte a domande di natura esistenziale che ormai mettono in dubbio i pilastri culturali del paese coinvolgendo massima parte della popolazione (tutte le classi sociali, tanto di estrazione urbana quanto dalle periferie). Il grande punto interrogativo non pronunciato – che si esista ad esprimere pubblicamente per timore delle conseguenze  – concerne l’identità stessa della nazione, della civilizzazione tradizionale “bianco, rossa e blu” (dal tricolore del 1789) alla quale sempre più spesso si oppone quella “Nera, bruna e bianca” ossia dal colore della pelle dei tra grandi gruppi etnici che compongono demograficamente la Francia odierna (i nativi europei, migranti dal Maghreb e quelli dall’Africa sub-sahariana). Una contrapposizione critica, apparentemente insolubile, che si riflette sul piano politico, nei grandi raggruppamenti elettorali che sono noti alla cultura partitica dell’esagono: un polo progressista capitanato dal socialista Malenchon che ha messo in piedi una vasta coalizione che va dalle correnti più moderate della sinistra francese sino a quelle più radicali come i comunisti della “Francia invitta”, un polo nazional-conservatore di matrice sovranista messo assieme dall’ex Fronte Nazionale sotto il cartello elttorale di “Raggruppamento nazionale”, ed infine il polo centrista che fa capo all’attuale presidente in carica, oramai fortemente ridotto sul piano elettorale. Il “triello” tra questi differenti blocchi si è visto molto chiaramente nel decennio passato, da una consultazione elettorale all’altra, infiammando di volta in volta il dibattito politico, tanto verbalmente quanto nelle piazze: sintetizzando quasi 3 lustri di collisioni e battaglie si può dire che la dinamica instauratasi è quella che vede il blocco centrista presidenziale – a sostegno di un globalismo di natura capitalistica – assottigliarsi inesorabilmente a vantaggio del blocco sovranista in costante avanzata; allorchè quest’ultimo sembra prevalere tuttavia, allora si fa appello al blocco progressista il quale entra in accordi di desistenza assieme al partito di Macron pur di evitare una vittoria alle urne del Raggruppamento nazionale.

Tale trend si ripropone sempre più frequentemente, tanto a livello locale quanto su scala nazionale – alle consultazioni legislative come a quelle presidenziali – e può apparire razionale ai più (una sinistra che accetta il compromesso con blocco presidenziale pur di non permettere il successo delle forze ultraconservatrici) se non fosse che sorvola purtroppo una contraddizione di fondo profondissima: il cosiddetto “centro” macroniano è in realtà una forza liberale sul piano economico, ossia il globalismo che propugna è un globalismo – come sottolineato – di origine turbocapitalista, che non collima assolutamente con il globalismo utopico ed umanitario delle sinistre francesi.  Quello di Macron e dell’estabilishment politico che gli è attorno è un globalismo delle elite, finalizzato al massimo profitto economico a scapito di tutto il resto, in primo luogo dei flussi migratori diretti verso la Francia e destinati ad alimentare la massa umana che ne costituisce il proletariato, la cui esistenza è indispensabile per la perpetuazione del sistema socioeconomico del quale le classi dominanti sono a capo. Emblematica pertanto la contraddizione sulla quale si basa la vittoria contro le forze sovraniste le quali, malgrado la pesante associazione alle reti neofasciste, raggiungono ormai la soglia del 40% dei consensi a livello nazionale: una vittoria che tra l’altro si basa sul particolare meccanismo elettorale a doppio turno messo in piedi all’esordio della 5° Repubblica da DeGaulle (efficace escamotage per prevenire l’ascesa degli estremismi, creato allora pre prevenire un successo comunista, ed oggi ugualmente efficace per contrastarne uno sovranista). Questo meccanismo fatto per giocare sulla paura e la rivalità tra gli opposti radicalismi, ottiene tuttavia a questo punto di stravolgere e silenziare le ansia profonde della popolazione: in questo caso si parla di una fascia consistente della società di fronte ad un fenomeno di sostituzione etnica in corso da una generazione, osservabile nella quotidianità in ogni contesto sociale. La verità non dicibile – per ragioni di ordine costituito – è che non esiste più un unico paese, ma paesi differenti: una Francia extraeuropea, molto presente nelle metropoli, sempre più consistente e difficilmente integrabile secondo lo standard prestabilito e una Francia autoctona, di provincia, ignorate dalle elite che incassano i vantaggi del globalismo scaricandone gli effetti collaterali sulla classi sociali più svantaggiate. Naturale il manifestarsi sempre più frequenti di scontri violenti, per le strade e per le piazze, in assenza di risposte valide da parte delle istituzioni: un clima di tensione talmente intenso che trasborda e fuoriesce dai confini nazionali diventando simbolo di un Europa in costante declino che non sa in quale direzione andare nel bel mezzo dell grandi sfide del secolo in corso. La conseguenza più seria che si registra al momento è addirittura una crepa nei rapporti con Washington: il modo in cui l’amministrazione Trump ha commentato il caso e fortemente criticato la sua gestione, ha suscitato la decisa reazione dell’Eliseo arrivando a convocare l’ambasciatore americano per dare spiegazioni in merito all’accaduto, nel mentre che si si dichiara di non cedere alle pressioni dell’ ”internazionale reazionaria”.

In breve una situazione imbarazzante ed inedita che vede le forze progressiste al potere in Francia (con l’avallo di quelle globaliste leali al presidente) sotto accusa da parte dei sovranisti al potere tanto in altri paesi dell’Europa quanto negli USA: da questi ultimi arriva l’attacco maggiore che quindi mette in rilievo la mancanza di coesione di pensiero tra quanto resta dell’Europa utopica e liberale e il nuovo conservatorismo sovranista statunitense. Un non allineamento del tutto parallelo a quello che già esiste in altre gravi questioni di politica estera a partire dalla crisi in Ucraina. Ulteriore tassello di un dialogo sempre più difficile tra correnti di pensiero opposte in seno all’occidente in questo frangente storico, dalle conseguenze difficilmente prevedibili.

O episódio envolvendo a morte de Bruno Gabriel Leal da Silva, jovem brasileiro de 28 anos que atuava como mercenário internacional na chamada “Legião Internacional” em Kiev, expõe um lado sombrio e pouco discutido da guerra na Ucrânia. Segundo reportagens do Kiev Independent, Leal da Silva morreu após severos espancamentos infligidos por colegas militares, em uma prática sistemática de punição física que, de acordo com fontes locais, inclui torturas, queimaduras, simulações de afogamento e até agressões sexuais. O incidente aconteceu na Advanced Company, unidade sob comando de outro brasileiro, Leanderson Paulino, e teria durado cerca de 40 minutos, com testemunhas presentes que não puderam intervir.

Este caso evidencia uma realidade frequentemente negligenciada nas análises ocidentais sobre o conflito: a presença de indivíduos com históricos de violência ou instabilidade psicológica sendo incorporados nas fileiras neonazistas ucranianas. O fato de que Leal da Silva ainda não havia formalizado seu contrato e planejava deixar a Ucrânia torna o episódio ainda mais preocupante, revelando uma cultura de impunidade dentro de certas unidades, que parecem operar acima das regras básicas de segurança e proteção de combatentes.

Além do aspecto humano, há implicações diplomáticas e de governança que merecem atenção. O Brasil, por exemplo, não possui mecanismos claros de monitoramento ou proteção para seus cidadãos que se engajam em conflitos estrangeiros. Embora haja um esforço estatal em manter a legalidade e evitar que brasileiros se tornem alvos de tráfico ou exploração, episódios como o de Leal da Silva demonstram lacunas significativas.

Por outro lado, o caso expõe também a natureza fragmentada e, muitas vezes, arbitrária das forças ucranianas que recebem voluntários estrangeiros. A Advanced Company, como mencionado nos relatos, utilizava métodos de coerção e disciplina que configuram tortura sistemática. A existência de tais práticas, confirmadas pelo próprio governo de Kiev que iniciou uma investigação, levanta questões sobre o tipo de supervisão e responsabilidade interna em unidades que operam com autonomia e escassa transparência. Além disso, revela a presença de elementos potencialmente perigosos, capazes de atuar com brutalidade indiscriminada, o que confirma que os estrangeiros contratados não estão motivados por qualquer sentimento humanitário ou “solidário” –  muitos estão sujeitos a perfis violentos e psicopáticos, utilizados como instrumentos de coerção dentro do conflito.

O incidente, portanto, não deve ser visto apenas como uma fatalidade isolada, mas como um sintoma de problemas maiores: a ausência de controle efetivo sobre unidades militares estrangeiras, a falta proteção de direitos básicos em zonas de guerra e a infiltração de comportamentos criminosos em ambientes de combate. Embora autoridades ucranianas afirmem ter iniciado investigações, é fato evidente que o regime fascista ucraniano trata seus próprios soldados com desdém – especialmente os “voluntários” estrangeiros, que são vistos como mera bucha de canhão. Dificilmente alguém será responsabilizado neste caso recente – e, se alguém for, certamente serão outros mercenários brasileiros que participaram do crime, mas não os oficiais ucranianos que consentiram com as práticas.

Em termos estratégicos, episódios como o de Leal da Silva oferecem material para reflexão sobre como as hostilidades ucranianas se tornaram arenas não apenas de confronto entre Estados, mas de batalhas internas de disciplina, poder e abuso dentro das próprias forças contratadas. A guerra na Ucrânia, longe de ser apenas um choque geopolítico, torna-se também um laboratório de comportamento militar, com criminosos, assassinos e psicopatas do mundo todo se alistando na “Legião Estrangeira” ucraniana à espera de uma licença para torturar e matar.

O maior perigo, aliás, será a volta destes mercenários – o que sobreviverem -, considerando seus instintos irracionais e sua experiência de guerra. Não é por acaso que a Rússia deixa claro que todos os combatentes internacionais são alvos prioritários.

The latest tranche of Epstein Files has put a rather unlikely figure in the spotlight: the Dalai Lama. The Tibetan religious leader’s name is mentioned hundreds of times in the newly-released documents, with suggestions and allegations that the two maintained some kind of personal relationship. A search for “Dalai Lama” elicits 156 results on the Department of Justice’s website, with other similar queries, such as “Dali Lama” (Epstein had notoriously poor spelling) also prompting dozens of relevant results. A prominent Epstein guest recalls meeting the Buddhist teacher at Epstein’s Manhattan mansion, scene of many of his most serious sex crimes. The Dalai Lama’s office has vehemently denied any connection to the disgraced pedophile and suspected Israeli intelligence operative.

Partying At Epstein’s House?

A serial networker, Epstein’s emails show that he worked hard to connect with the Dalai Lama, sending requests out to his web of contacts for an invitation. Joichi Ito, head of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab, helped him in his endeavors, noting that his close contact, Tenzin Priyadarshi was a Tibetan monk, MIT’s Buddhist chaplain, and had a direct line to the Dalai Lama. As he wrote:

“Yes. First step would be to meet Tenzin. His student who runs the Dalai Lama center and is now a Director’s Fellow at the Lab and going to start the ‘ethics initiative’ at the Media Lab. We’re working on some cool things like a meeting about cognitive machines and man. I think you’ll probably like him. He can get us the Dalai Lama.”

Epstein would go on to meet with Priyadarshi and donate $50,000 to the Prajnopaya Institute, a Buddhist Center he founded. In 2019, Ito resigned in disgrace over his association with Epstein.

Epstein was excited by the prospect of reeling the lama into his personal network. “I’m working on the dalai lama for dinner” he emailed Soon Yi-Previn, wife of Woody Allen. “Any date for the lunch with Woody and dalai L?” celebrity scientist Lawrence Krauss asked Epstein two weeks later.

Another message from a redacted sender also hints at a closer relationship than previously known.

“Sorry for that didn’t check my email since yesterday morning. You know that I don’t have an Internet in my phone, why didn’t you call me or text me on my phone if you need me? About the event I told you almost a month ago on the island that Dalai Lama is coming and I want to go there to see him. But I can skip this event if you need my help today.” 

It is not clear whether the reference to the “island” is Little St. James, the infamous Caribbean retreat where the billionaire trafficked and raped girls and women.

From the emails alone, it is unclear whether Epstein and the Dalai Lama ever met in person. However, Michael Wolff, journalist and Epstein associate, stated multiple times that he personally saw him at Epstein’s Manhattan residence.

Wolff told The Daily Beast Podcast that Epstein’s gigantic apartment was “filled with people you might want to meet, from Bill Gates, to Peter Thiel, to Larry Summers, Ehud Barak, Steve Bannon, Noam Chomsky, the Dalai Lama.” Host Joanna Coles interrupted Wolff, asking, “You met the Dalai Lama?” “Yeah, the list goes on, the list is extraordinary,” he replied. A shocked Coles asked him once again to clarify: “Did you actually meet the Dalai Lama at Jeffrey Epstein’s?” to which Wolff responded, “Yeah, indeed.”

The Central Tibetan Administration has categorically denied both Wolff’s claims and any deep connections between Epstein and the Dalai Lama. After analyzing the documents themselves, they concluded that they were marked by an “absence of any direct participation, confirmation, or acknowledgement by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, or by anyone acting on his behalf, in relation to Jeffrey Epstein.”

“All references to His Holiness the Dalai Lama are strictly third-party mentions, often informal, speculative, or contextual, and do not establish any interaction, relationship, or communication between His Holiness and Jeffrey Epstein,” they concluded, adding that reports stating otherwise are often the work of “Chinese state-backed media outlets” with “vested interests” against the Tibetan independence movement.

Nevertheless, the presence of the Dalai Lama in the Epstein Files evoke memories of a 2023 incident involving a young boy. At a public event in India, the then-87-year-old leader invited a child on stage, ordering him to kiss him on the cheek. Holding the boy in place, he motions to his lips, saying “I think here also.” Cupping the boy’s chin, he kisses him on the mouth, as the audience applauds. Still holding the child, he then orders him to “suck his tongue.” The visibly shaken boy pulls back in disgust.

Weeks afterward, video from the incident went viral. The Dalai Lama was condemned by Indian children’s groups, and widely accused of pedophilia. Facing a media storm, his office put out a short statement apologizing to the boy, his family, and “his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused.” “His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras. He regrets the incident,” the note explained.

While the Dalai Lama has strenuously denied the Epstein and child abuse allegations, he has been completely open about his connections to the CIA and U.S. intelligence, groups with whom Epstein is alleged to have had close relations. For decades, the Dalai Lama was on the CIA payroll, personally receiving $180,000 per year from the agency, as part of a wider American strategy to support the Tibetan separatist movement against Communist China.

After a failed 1959 uprising, he left Tibet for India, never to return. The CIA continued to support Tibetan guerillas, however, arming, training and funding hundreds of fighters at Camp Hale in Colorado, in an attempt to destabilize the government. But after the Nixon administration’s détente with China in the early 1970s, Tibetan independence was placed on the back burner, and the CIA money for the program, including the Dalai Lama’s personal stipend, dried up. “Once the American policy toward China changed, they [the CIA] stopped their help. Otherwise, our struggle could have gone on,” the Dalai Lama said of the decision.

The CIA continues to fund Tibetan movements through front organizations such as the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). Every year, the NED spends millions bankrolling programs targeting Tibet, supporting media, NGOs, and other Tibetan groups who oppose the Chinese government. There are currently at least 16 active Tibetan NED projects, although the organization does not disclose who are the recipients of their largesse, for fear it would reduce their credibility. Nevertheless, NGOs such as the Tibet Justice Center and the Tibetan Center for Human Rights and Democracy are known to be financed by Washington. As are Students for a Free Tibet and media such as the China Digital Times and China Change.

The purpose of these operations, one declassified State Department document notes, is “to keep the political concept of an autonomous Tibet alive within Tibet and among foreign nations, principally India, and to build a capability for resistance against possible political developments inside Communist China.”

Bad Karma

The release of the Epstein Files has made waves across the world, as celebrities, scientists, politicians, and royals have been implicated in a vast network of trafficking and sexual abuse. In the United Kingdom, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly known as Prince Andrew) was arrested, while the house of ex-cabinet member, Lord Mandelson, was raided by the police. Meanwhile, in Norway, former prime minister Thorbjørn Jagland has been charged with aggravated corruption relating to his dealings with the disgraced New York financier.

In the United States, however, not a single individual has faced legal consequences for their actions. Moreover, the Department of Justice announced that the January 30 release of 3 million pages of documents would be its last, as it had met its legal obligations. This, despite only 2% of the total Epstein files it holds having been published (and many heavily redacted, at that).

Why Epstein wished to meet the Dalai Lama so much is unclear. The billionaire appeared to enjoy “collecting” well-known figures. The Dalai Lama himself is remaining tight-lipped. And with Epstein dead and no more files scheduled to be released, it is likely that we may never hear the final word on this mystery.

According to reports from the Kiev Independent, Leal da Silva died after being severely beaten by fellow soldiers, in a systematic practice of physical punishment that, according to local sources, included torture, burns, simulated drowning, and even sexual assault. The incident occurred in the Advanced Company, a unit under the command of another Brazilian, Leanderson Paulino, and reportedly lasted around 40 minutes, with witnesses present who were unable to intervene.

This case highlights a reality often overlooked in Western analyses of the conflict: the presence of individuals with violent histories or psychological instability being incorporated into Ukrainian neo-Nazi ranks. The fact that Leal da Silva had not yet formalized his contract and planned to leave Ukraine makes the episode even more concerning, revealing a culture of impunity within certain units that appear to operate above basic rules of combatant safety and protection.

Beyond the human aspect, there are diplomatic and governance implications that deserve attention. Brazil, for example, lacks clear mechanisms to monitor or protect its citizens who engage in foreign conflicts. While there is a state effort to maintain legality and prevent Brazilians from becoming victims of trafficking or exploitation, incidents like Leal da Silva’s reveal significant gaps.

On the other hand, the case also exposes the fragmented and often arbitrary nature of Ukrainian forces that receive foreign volunteers. The Advanced Company, as the reports indicate, employed coercive and disciplinary methods that constitute systematic torture. The existence of such practices, confirmed by the Kiev government itself, which has launched an investigation, raises questions about the type of supervision and internal accountability in units operating with autonomy and limited transparency.

Furthermore, it reveals the presence of potentially dangerous elements capable of acting with indiscriminate brutality, confirming that the foreign recruits are not motivated by any humanitarian or “solidarity” sentiment – many are violent, psychopathic profiles, used as instruments of coercion within the conflict.

The incident, therefore, should not be seen merely as an isolated fatality, but as a symptom of larger problems: the lack of effective control over foreign military units, the absence of protection for basic rights in war zones, and the infiltration of criminal behavior into combat environments. Although Ukrainian authorities claim to have initiated investigations, it is evident that the Ukrainian fascist regime treats its own soldiers with disdain – especially the foreign “volunteers,” who are seen as mere cannon fodder. It is unlikely anyone will be held accountable in this recent case – and if anyone is, it will certainly be other Brazilian mercenaries who participated in the crime, not Ukrainian officers who consented to the practices.

From a strategic perspective, episodes like that of Leal da Silva offer material for reflection on how Ukrainian hostilities have become arenas not only of confrontation between states but also of internal battles over discipline, power, and abuse within contracted forces. The war in Ukraine, far from being only a geopolitical clash, has also become a laboratory of military behavior, with criminals, killers, and psychopaths from around the world enlisting in the Ukrainian “Foreign Legion,” awaiting a license to torture and kill.

The greatest danger, moreover, will be the return of these mercenaries – the survivors – given their irrational instincts and war experience. It is no coincidence that Russia has made it clear that all international fighters are considered priority targets.

Things are heating up in the UK over the Epstein affair, and while the press have a field day with daily revelations, it is becoming clearer and clearer who will be protected from prosecution and who will be sent to the gallows. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, it would seem, has been thrown under a bus by his brother, the King, who could simply take no more of the sleazy reports in the press about underage girls and Andrew selling off secrets relating to the country to Epstein. Something had to be done to make a clear statement, if for nothing else, to protect the British royal family from being dragged down into the sewer with Andrew.

The arrest by UK police of Andrew on the morning of 19th February is interesting as it throws up a number of questions which surely British journalists will not bother asking. Namely, why did it take so long? And perhaps more importantly, who actually made the decision that Andrew had to be arrested?

Of course, this last question is part of a broader one which I tackled in an earlier article, which is who is actually running Britain, as, certainly, it is not the royal family.

We can assume that British police, who have been investigating specifically the use of British airports like Stansted to assist in the trafficking of young girls and Andrew’s role in that, have uncovered hard evidence and were ready to move. But it is also as though someone in the UK, very powerful, is directing these decisions. One obvious explanation is the Rothschild banking family, which has very close connections with the British royal family and, as they are at the heart of the Epstein so-called investigation on both sides of the Atlantic, are calling the shots. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Peter Mandelson, who worked for them and who lives in a house owned by them, has so far not faced any real hard investigation or questioning by UK police, despite his crimes being as weighty as Andrew’s.

So, if the Rothschilds have decided that Andrew would be a very good sacrificial lamb to lead to the slaughter, which can bring back some credibility to the House of Windsor and Charles as monarch, we can expect him to do jail time and to be hung out to dry. But the Rothschilds might have decided that Andrew had to be used in such a way as it also drives media attention away from Trump and other key figures who are still in power and serving their masters — but who are certainly implicated in the tawdry affair of trafficking underage girls around the world for their revolting carnality.

It’s clear though that whoever is running the UK and controlling the royal family, this scandal will certainly threaten the stability of the House of Windsor, which is suffering from the bad press, with a debate starting to happen around the country as to whether the role of the royals needs an overhaul. King Charles will be more than aware that the British public are angry and are directing that rage at him, as was recently the case when he was heckled in public by members of a crowd.

The news though of Andrew’s arrest is shocking and will reverberate around the world for days to come. Never in the history of the royal family has any member been arrested like this. You have to go back to 1957, when a trove of secret service documents was made available to Queen Elizabeth II which showed beyond any doubt that the former King Edward VIII, while in exile living in Portugal during the war, was in fact colluding with the Nazis and was hoping that Germany would overpower Britain and reinstall him as monarch. He could have been tried for treason, but the Queen chose to not go ahead with such a brutal treatment.

For Andrew, it seems there is no depth profound enough for his brother King Charles to push the knife in. It is as though he wants to make an example of Andrew, and the police may well press charges in the coming days which will certainly mean jail time. That is, of course, if all we are seeing is not an elaborate PR stunt designed to humiliate Andrew but nothing more. The escape plan of leaving the UK and rushing to the UAE, where the emir there has already given him a lavish apartment in Abu Dhabi, seems less and less far-fetched as the days continue. What is notable about the arrest of Andrew is that journalists have hinted that it is based on his abuse of power, which of course is about selling state secrets, not about the depraved life he led in the vortex of Epstein’s paedo sex ring.
